Who in Canada has a T3 Varmint in 6.5 55

I waited over a year for mine as well. They are a special order item - Stoeger does not bring them in on a regular basis. Poor business practice on there part not to bring in something that Tikka seems to make pretty much exclusively. They are happy to bring them in in .223 or .308 but for some reason not in 6.5x55. Of course, every other competing manufacturer carries a heavy barreled varmit rifle in those calibers as well but only Tikka offers them in 6.5x55 - you'd think that Stoeger would exploit that to the max. They would sell a boat load of them if they decide to bring them over - thay are very difficult to get in the US as well. Like I said, piss poor business practice!

As most of the above, only in on special order, and the factory only runs the order when there are enough. I believe, stand to correction that the 6.5x55 SE is not a popular calibre in North America but is in Europe,.308 Rules, made in the USA ,try and by ammo and surplus for Swedish Mausers here. I have a friend who is waiting on an order coming in, was due this month, still no sign, but he will have a used 6.5x55 for sale when his new one comes in, he is a long distance shooter and very fussy, so his used will be tip top. (PM me will pass on info if interested). I have just bought off another ORA member, also a long distance shooter, a T3 Varmint Stainless 6.5 x 55 SE, I love this calibre, he is also a top shooter, Lapua Brass comming with rifle. My friend has shot his 6.5x55 varmint to 1000yards and it’s a tack driver (in his hands not mine of course).

tikka t-3 laminate

Picked up a T-3 6.5X55 Laminate from P&D out of Edmonton, from order to delivery at my PO Box took about a week. If its not on there rack they will get it. Great rifle looks good and shoots even better 85gr HP and one Coyote equals money in the bank!:)

I couldn't wait and just bought a T3 Lite in 6.5. For the first 6-8 rounds I doubt you could tell the difference in barrel weight between mine and the Varmint when you see the group size. They sure do build good rifles!

Called Stoeger, they have sent the last 4 of those they got in to EPPS and all of them were already sold according to EPPS. Hurry up and wait.

The only way to get one is to order it, ask me how I know. I waited just over 9 months for mine from order date to delivery at local gun shop. I may be willing to sell it is set up with S/S opti lock extra low rings and bases. I have 100 pieces of Lapua, 100 pieces of rem brass, rcbs dies and various bullets. The rifle has had about 50 shots down the pipe. If interested PM me.
