Who in Canada has in stock the Ruger 90041 5-round magazine for a 10/22?

In June this year I sent an email to IRUNGUNS suggesting that, perhaps, they could be interested in importing these mags to Canada. I got a confirmation from them for my email but until now, nothing. Apart from some rumors about 5-rd mags for long rifles in the future (it may/may not be implemented for 22LR) even now these mags would be useful for some shooters. A number of shooting ranges in Ontario limit the number of rounds in a magazine regardless of caliber. My outdoor shooting range is unfortunately in this group. Every outdoor shooting range in my area has that 5-rd restriction. I'd buy several of 5-rd Ruger mags right away.

This is the saddest, most pathetic news I've heard in a while. What hell hole of a place has these restrictions in place?

This. I would join the board, get my buddies to do the same, wait till there's enough of us for a majority vote, and get the fu¢k rid of that ridiculous rule. These draconian bullsh!t rules exist because no none opposes them past the point of #####ing about them.

The only input a club should have regarding magazine capacity, permitted forearms, etc should be 'as permitted by law', and 'according to CFO range approvals'.

IIRC there was one at the local Cabela's.
More money than a 10-rounder.
I wondered why anyone would want one unless their club outlawed 10-rounders because on an error in interpretation . . . Right . . . Someone at the club was applying the centerfire rule to rimfires.
HE was Aggressive and Hostile but now he is gone . . . pity!

The Oshawa club had that restriction in place when I was a member, some years ago now. The rule may have changed since then. It made shooting my M1 Garand interesting. I can't recall what I did as a work-around, but I probably just ignored the rule and loaded 8.

Just like how we see so many 25 round magazines in 10/22s these days?

Exactly. I see people using 25 round mags in their 10/22 at my local range. Good for them.

And let’s be honest here. 25 rounders aren’t getting shipped with your factory 10/22. But the 10 round mags are. How many people are going to care enough to buy a 5 rounder in order to comply. My guess? Not many. As it should be.
