Who knows where this is ?

Bedford military range. Off the 102 and 101 highway.

Pistol range off to the left.

Walking trail that is around it. Plus a trailer park behind that a sentry is that over looks it. Also people off road behind it, from a NS power entrance.

I figured you'd know it, we did our monthly 2 day getaway to Halifax, dinner, shopping, sight seeing and stopped at the Peavey Mart by this range on the way home.

5 hour drives are getting to be a bit much though.

I better have. Lived near it for 20 plus years. Navy mainly uses it. Hear you on the drives. I barely can do the under 2 hour drives into the city anymore.
 
IIRC the highway reduced the range from 1000yds to 600 yards. Shot there a few times 20 years ago. The 'river' crossing the range around the 300 yard mark also required sentries for any fishermen walking up or down the water.
