I like that Winchester/Miroku 95 carbine. This is a Mauser model 66 in .270.
Because of the Gehmann telescopic action you can have a long barrel on a short carbine.

Love my 18.5” barrels. This is my 22-250 for coyotes....it loves to group 50 grain VMax booolits at 3025 FPS give or take!
I made up a similar SS receiver in 260 Remmy for my deer rig!

Shortened to 22" T/C Prohunter in 375H&H.

Yes it has a front extended scope ring for a reason.

My main load is 250gr TTSX @ 2600fps but I plan on loading up to 350gr for it...
