donaldson, i also stated what my pressure signs are and they are hardly what would be called unsafe, the title is more of a joke than anything. if I ever had a head swell up, a loose primer pocket or a primer that even lost its rounded edges id would adjust accordingly. I have tuned my loads to be right in the peak of accuracy with what I feel is safe and acceptable pressures, when summer came along I did 2 things, I watched for loss in accuracy as it would tell me velocity and pressure were changing and I keep an eye on my cases.
Last week I did make a rookie mistake by running one too many rounds through a case, I had been keeping an eye for the external sign of the ring but it had never shown, after checking all my other unknown firings of cases with a pick I found many to be close to seperating but none show externally. From now on ill check every case internally.
