I was all set and ready to buy a TT until I was told the round is not welcomed in indoor ranges 'cause it may damage the backstop.
Not unlike a 9mm Luger,.357 magnum, or .44 magnum, eh? (just a friendly dig to those who don't appear to have fired the 7.62x25 but only look at load data)
I agree. I've got a 9mm Norinco Tokarev. Get a friend to try it with 9mm barrel installed; "OK it's kinda neat" is the response. Slip in the 7.62 barrel with 1950's era surplus, then let them try it " F--king cool!" is the response. Not unlike a 9mm Luger,.357 magnum, or .44 magnum, eh? +1!7.62X25 is in the same league as 9mm Luger. If you think it beats .357 then you don't know s**t.
Penetration from a 7.62 is pretty impressive, I've punched holes through 6"-7" logs with mine.+1!
you can push a light 90gr bullet out of a 9mm just as fast as a Tok..but you can't shoot 147grers in 7.62x25. 9mm wins!
Lone wolf is making a conversion barrel for use in the large frame glocks using the 10mm mag. I have yet to see one, but its been on their page for a while now.
