who makes a 7.62x25 pistol?

I did a little research... i couldn't find any 7.62x25 data remotely close to the .357Magnum. Well, I suppose the .357Magnum could be "loaded-down" to match the 7.62x25 ;)

It looks like the 7.62x25 pushes a very light-85gr bullet, fast... and that's it.

The 7.62x25 is not even close to the .357Magnum/.44Magnum cartridge.
Someone please show me some some 180gr 1400fps 7.62x25 data; only then would the 7.62x25 "be comparable" to the .357Magnum/10mm Auto... it'd still be FAR FROM the .44Magnum.

With that said, I still wouldn't want to be hit with one. ;)

Last time we did this people posted data for 9mm luger that made 7.62 look much weaker. 115gr and 1500fps IIRC. Out of modded race guns but meh.

I was all set and ready to buy a TT until I was told the round is not welcomed in indoor ranges 'cause it may damage the backstop.

Not unlike a 9mm Luger,.357 magnum, or .44 magnum, eh? (just a friendly dig to those who don't appear to have fired the 7.62x25 but only look at load data)

I agree. I've got a 9mm Norinco Tokarev. Get a friend to try it with 9mm barrel installed; "OK it's kinda neat" is the response. Slip in the 7.62 barrel with 1950's era surplus, then let them try it " F--king cool!" is the response.
9mm flips the empties 6-8 feet to the side; 7.62 sails them 10-15 feet. More noise and flash from the muzzle. OK ; thats all show , I realize that ; still way cooler to shoot at 17-18 cents a round.
9mm does not warm it up for fun factor. Ballistics and ft/lb charts be damned...LOL

7.62X25 is in the same league as 9mm Luger. If you think it beats .357 then you don't know s**t.
+1!

you can push a light 90gr bullet out of a 9mm just as fast as a Tok..but you can't shoot 147grers in 7.62x25. 9mm wins!

Penetration from a 7.62 is pretty impressive, I've punched holes through 6"-7" logs with mine.
Again @ 17-18 cts / round
My 9 does a-lot of dust gathering, the 7.62 is just more fun IMO.
Again you can bench test ( compare load charts ) til the cows come home; come fun time I think it trumps the 9mm. And I've got them both.
Just my opinion; no offense intended.

Lone wolf is making a conversion barrel for use in the large frame glocks using the 10mm mag. I have yet to see one, but its been on their page for a while now.

Lone wolf does not have any 7.62x25mm barrels on their page. They do have 9x25mm listed tho.

Around 2 years ago I remember a 1911 in 7.62x25mm being sold on the EE tho.
