I've designed a cartridge and would like to have some brass made up with the caliber/name stamped on it.

Anyone know if there is a company that does this type of work?

The only place I can think of is Starline in the USA. Don't know about costs or exporting though.

Who makes custom brass

You could try Jamison International VLCC. They make all kinds of custon stuff, but you best have DEEEEEEEEP pockets.

you might be better off to get a machine shop to produce a die/die set to reform a currently produced round/brass. you will have to have a certain amount of skill to design and draw up what you need.

Many thousands of guys have produced wildcat cartridges, but only a handful have ponied up the cost for what would effectively be a "vanity" cartridge (only one guy uses it!). We are talking tens of thousands of dollars for tooling, setup, test and production. A run of 100,000 would likely be required for the cost per cartridge to be close to factory cost.

For small runs, turn them on a cnc/lathe from solid stock and then engrave whatever headstamp you want. For a bottleneck cartridge, form a straight cartridge first then have a set of custom case forming dies made up.

As for quantities for a custom cartridge, consider that Starline won't even Nickel plate their brass in less than DRUM quantities......

Try custombrassandbullets.com for "basic" unformed brass you can use as a base for forming your own cartridge.

I have an old custom Winchester High Wall in 219 Donaldson Wasp. For the most part with a trim die, two forming dies and a two die set from RCBS I can form my own from 30-30 brass. However, when I purchased the rifle I was also given a quantity of custom brass. On the boxes of brass is the following sticker/label;

Custom Brass from DKT Inc.
14623 Vera Drive, Union, MI 49130.

Give them a shout, perhaps they can help you out:).

Many places produce custom brass, but none of them produce them with a custom headstamp. They will still have the parent name (e.g. 348 Win), but they might cut a ring through it to clue the user that it's been modified.
