I am actually looking for flip up or tall fixed (removable) sights for my KSG. I know it isn't a black rifle but I figured those in the know for my question would be in the black rifle forum.

I find the magpul and PRI sights I have tried are too low for my liking on the KSG and I would like the sights to be taller for me. I find that because of the low sights I bring the shotgun up too high out of my shoulder when using them.

I'm willing to wager its your stance/mounting of the shotgun that needs adjustment not a taller set of sights. My bet is that you aren't rolling your head forward and maintaining a solid cheek weld due to recoil.

I've never tried the KSG, but I'd wager a comfortable cheek weld with iron sights was not high on the list of design goals.

Exactly. There is a picture of an officer with the shotgun half out of his shoulder that highlights the problem nicely. I can't seem to link to it on my phone.

I am used to getting a good cheek weld but with shotgun and BUIS the sight are too low for my liking and I tend to want to put my head down much more than feels natural on any other firearm.

My RFB is no where near as bad and seems very natural I me.

Also with most other shotguns with a good cheek weld your looking directly over the top of the barrel at the bead which barely protrudes the barrel at all which is impossible for me with the KSG I tried to use the rail as a rough indication but it really doesn't work for me.
