Who runs brass cased ammo through their CSA/858's???

I realize the vast majority of us are shooting surplus but there must be a few of you guys out there with a VZ-58/CSA/CZ-858 who have run brass cased ammo like Fiocchi or PRVI at one time.
Will the VZ-58 platform run brass ammo without any problems? Is it reloadable after firing or beat to rat sh$t?
Anyone reload 7.62X39 for their VZ?

Search didn't yield much for results.
 
Nobodys shot brass cased 7.62x39 rounds like PRVI or Fiochi through their 858?
C'mon guys...don't make me have to buy a box and try it myself! :p
 
I've fired a bit through some SKS's without issue. The only thing I noticed was the bore wasn't half as dirty afterward as with surplus, MFS or Barnaul. I'd imagine little difference in a CZ/CSA. Buy a box and try it out. If it works, buy more!
 
I reload for my VZ58, the brass is in great shape after a few firings, the odd dent here and there, usually comes out in the dies
The reloads are clean accurate and powerful.
 
I've shot both milsurp brass and commercial. No problems with either. I have some Prvi and Lapua that reloaded just fine.
 
BTW, some milsurp is brass cased. I have a few cases of it from Romania and from Yugoslavia.

I use Federal Fusion for hunting, though to date I've only succeeded in shooting paper while sighting it in. No ftf or fte issues.

I do not reload so I can't offer advice on that.
 
I tried to run a box of American eagle today. Nothing but problems. Failure to feed.
Switched to dominion arms steel, no drama...
Loaded norinco copper wash, no drama.
Tried to AE brass again, and problems....strange situation for sure...
 
My 2013 VZ58 runs brass cased ammo just fine.

I have shot American Eagle and Federal Fusion without trouble. The brass gets tossed a ways so finding it can be tricky.

The brass doesn't seem to be too marked up or beyond use for reloading. I got a few primers pushed out slightly with the American Eagle not sure if the loads are under powered or if that batch of brass might have been a little soft?

I run Hornady Zombie A-Max through my 2014 VZ 58 without a single problem. I'm sucker with cleaning so non corrosive are all I shoot.

Hey LuckyOnes, are you shooting that AE through a CSA or CZ 858/VZ 58?
Thanks to everyone who replied,makes me confident enough to buy some brass cased and try it.
From the sounds of it I just may get a couple of reloads out of the empty brass if I get lucky.
