It took a bit of digging and allot of phone calls but we finally had some success in finding all the primers we need for a few days...:)

We did clean him out though, so now the hunt is on for the next batch, we have been finding it takes 6 months to make a good score, how about the rest of you guys are you having any luck?

I've got about 15,000 still, maybe a little more...Should last for a while.

I haven't had a problem finding primers, I've had a problem finding primers that are reasonably priced :p

I have to ask, open question, when primers come in boxes of 1000, why do we feel the need to buy (in this case) 45000 at a time? I'm as guilty as anyone, I have 10 primers stocked up for every one I've reloaded. Oh well...now I need the bullets and powder.

I think the "Great Primer Shortage of '09" is coming to an end.

I do not know about pistol primers, but rifle primers have been easy to find around here, and the prices never went nutty like out West either. Last primers I bought a couple months back were $27.83 for CCI and $34.45 for Winney's

I dont have a hard time finding primers, I have a hard time finding time to load them, then to use them!

BTW, that price that JOJO quoted.

They were not to bad this time @ 32.90 per 1000.....

I have paid more, thats for sure.....

IIRC, I paid US $11 per 1000, or $55 per flat for mine at a gun show in WA state about 12 years ago, and still have a few thousand!
