Is it possible to buy a Savage Mk2 TR here in Canada? Who sell these things?
I browse the different sponsor but no luck. And does anyone know the price of it?
I want a tactical style .22 and I think it fill the need. Someone in EE have one for sale but in .17HMR. I'm not sure about this caliber so I think I want to stick with .22.
My option for now is to buy a Mk2 with a heavy barrel and add a Boyds tacticool stock on it (in fact, it is already ordered from Boyds). Any suggestion?

Just go with the boyds stock.

Thats what I did. I have a TR in .17 HMR and it was around $500 shipped. I bought a Mk 2 for under $300 and a Boyds stock for around $90 and it is an excellent setup. You don't get the bolt handle and the gun is blued rather than black but it is a real nice rig.

I just got one this week from my local gun shop. they had to bring it in from Bell distributors in Mississauga though. Best advice i can give you is to ask nearby shops if they can order one for you.
 
If I order from a local gunshop, it will cost me 100$ more!!!
Gunshop here don't seem to know we can buy elsewhere.....
For example: a std savage Cub, 300$ plus taxes....
