I asked what was a good budget priced shotgun on an American duck hunters site and many recommended the Baikal MP-153.

Who sells this gun in Canada?

I have one, Brand new, unfired for sale in my CGN ad. These are excellent shotguns, Ellwood epps has them for $575 plus GST and shipping, I am sellimg mine for $525 shipped. A local gun shop went under and I still had a credit on the books so I got this gun and didn't really need it as much as the money.
Mind you if I sell anything else from my ad soon, I will keep this gun.
It is black synthetic, 28" bbl and 4 extended choke tubes

A buddy of mine has fired about 100 hunting rounds and about 2000 target loads with absolutely ZERO problems with his. The local shop sold about 30 of them with no complaints.

How much are you looking to spend? Most semis run $900-$2000. Remington 870 pumps are relatively inexpensive if you find the right dealer. I have seen them from $299-$800 depending on the model and who is selling it. For a Remignton you can't beat the mailorder stores.

I still say Baikal is the way to go.

this is a good steady gun. Will last for a long time. It owns a record of some sort along the most consecutive rounds fired without a problem. Pretty neat for a really low priced gun at 3 1/2 " and semi auto.
