who sells Beeman P17 in Toronto?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a source in the Toronto area.

Would like to heft it and feel it before I pull the trigger (sorry!) on the purchase.

Not to mention that $13 shipping on a $50 purchase seems a little silly, so I don't want to mail order if I can avoid it.

It's a great gun for the money. Only place I know that has them in the GTA is Princess Auto, or at least they used to. $13 might be worth it, I would pay someone $13 to bring me one if it mean I didn't have to drive to Mississauga or Scarborough. Highways around here are a nightmare! Just wait for the PanAm games, the roads will be grid locked for days on end!
It is a great gun, read up on some reviews. I wouldn't even worry about handling it first, trust the reviews!
It will likely need some o-rings in the near future, it's a common issue. I think they are 006, 009 and 117, all cheap o-rings. Usually the 006 in the valve is the culprit for a leaky valve. 117 is the piston seal, you can prevent failure by opening it up and smoothing out the inside of the compression chamber where the air inlet hole is. The 009 is the breech seal, I have never really had an issue with it, some people shim it for a tighter seal.

Thanks for the maintenance tips. PA isn't that far from me....I did check their catalog but maybe I'll just have to go in.

Its plastic, like smooth..( almost wanted to put a rubber sleeve ) and the 25# cocking effort kinda gets lame, More like gotta push down. Its pretty heavy, Trigger real light. Also biggest issue I had was trying to put the pellet in the small area they give you.

But for 50$ its pretty accurate.
