who sells DAWSON PRECISION handgun sights ?

i'm looking for 2-3 sets of DAWSON (or meprolight ) adjustable competition sights for glocks.

made a quick turn around of cgn's sponsoring dealers with no luck ; but maybe i'm missing something ?

yep.

seems like the whole country is out of adjustable sights of any brands these days.

from what i've gathered to date, US peoples are on another ''shopping spree'' post election LOLL...items generally easy to get like adjustable sights are in shortage ATM.

glockparts.com used to have meprolights adjustable in stock, they're sold out since months.....same goes with rockyourglock.

hmm:D that sounds sweet.

i've talked with a dawson precision rep recently who admitted their adjustable comp sights are in great demand , but curiously every retailer who sells them online are out of stock . on top of that, dawson has no export permits, they don't ship internationaly ;funny because their sights would sell a lot over here ; super quality, don't fall apart in no time like many, dawson sights are praised a lot on BRIAN ENO's forum.....

i have meprolights on each of my glocks, but for the matches i wants to go FO's for at least my G35 standard gun... anyhow i thought if ever i can't find dawson's sights i might get another set of mepros, but those are BO everywhere too! . lolllll


edit. i've browsed the FV online store, obviously they still have some dawson sights , but for STI's mainly. droped a line to see if they are still into dawson's products...

thanks pistolwhiptricks, i've sent an e-mail there too...we never know. i see they carry some sevigny fixed sights for glocks, and they have also a fully adjustable rear for an STI.....it's just that i need adjustable since i experiment with my loads quite a bit, POI may change, and i use couple pistols at matches, i simplify by adjusting all of them to the same POI .
 
Interesting thread. I may still have an email from Dawson a couple of years ago which stated that they are not shipping sights to Canada when I was looking for sights for my SA 1911.

however, seeing all the hype around sights dawson produces , i scratch my head and wonders why lollll.

no export permit i know, but again that would expands their business greatly, specialy online orders. but then again maybe the point is to NOT expand their online activities ??!! LOLLL...

but anyhow, something happen, it seems i can't find any adjustable sights , meprolights or warren sevigny, they're tough to come by..

my good friend went to a US trip recently, i gave him the mission of retrieving a set of adjustable tru-glow , he landed on my door with a set of '''bright sights'''' which are nice sights, but non adjustable LOLLL....there was 0 adjustable sight available at the cabela's he went to .....!!!

so, from what i understand, peoples are scared by the recent reelection of the democrat idiot, then the frenzy of piling up sights by fear of an upcoming shortage ??!!...which brings a true shortage ?? LOLOLLL
 
Drop a line to Fusion. I got a nice fibre optic front sight that fits my RIA perfectly. Stock sight was hard to pick up and the dovetails are cut a little deeper so a stock sight wouldn't fit.

i'm trying to reach their sales department for more infos.

but it doesn't looks like an easy walk in the park. it's specified that firearms parts for OVERSEAS shipments are subjects to import licence , including handgun sights (!!!).....thing is, i'm not sure if canada is considered '''oversea''' .

speed shooters international looks like my best bet even if they're located in CA. they holds all the good stuff for handguns IMO....and their online store shows adjustable dawson sights in stock!!:dancingbanana:
 
I think Dlask had those Dawson sights, not sure, anyhow Dlask does not reply to my e-mails trying to buy a set for my GSG 22/45. Tried to phone but phone seem to be disconnected
An American buddy is getting a set and an extra set for me from Dawson for our GSGs guns. Dawson cannot ship to Canada, he tells me. He is working flat out just to fill his US orders anyway.
Is it true Ruger has stopped shipping to Canada as they need all their production to meet US orders?

got a talk with a speedshooter international rep this evening....he confirmed that they don't ship sights in canada unless you have an import permit.now, there's still worldwide sports network left to try out !!!.....from my standing point, i think the one who can get a hand on their adjustable sights is a lucky bastard lollll.

thanks for the tip....i'll give'em a try,we never know. thing is, i could live with another set of meprolight,but even them are kind of in shortage everywhere i use to see them .....then, not a lot of options left for adjustable rears . there's mepros,dawson, sevigny, warren,bomar lolll ; i'm not gonna get into rear slide mods to accomodate a set of bomar or whatever not drop in....

...and thanks redryder. thing is i watched brownell's online store ,they seems out of sights too! if it's possible for brownell's ''special squad''' to get them , whatever the delivery time frame i'm gonna fill an order that's for sure.

there's something strange in the fact that adjustable sights seems realy hard to find presently. it's obaminable LOLLL
