HK won't or can't sell them to civilians. A few did end up in civilian hands and do pop up on the EE once and a while but expect to pay around $10,000.
All the HK products are imported into Canada are made in HK USA plants, unfortunately G36 came out during the assult rifle ban period in the US, so insteasd of the G36 they came up the SL8 for the civilan market, so the handful of G36 in Canada are pretty much the only ones we will probably ever see in Canada.
You will not be able to buy a G36 from HK unless you happen to have a valid end user certificate and work for an agency or film production company. That said, it will not be for private use even if you were certified to buy one. The ones that slipped through the cracks are only a handful, and the price corresponds to their rarity.
Or you can go with the HERA Arms AR15 stock lower (which is what I would personally do).
Gives it a nice tactical stock and grip without hindering the appearance or function of the gun (AKA you cant shoot the gun with the folding stock folded)
