So where are all the restricted length PP/PPK barrel comming from anyway? I can't seem to find a source and was thinking of getting one in .380 and use it to convert over a 12(6) in the future. Any sources?
Browning 1922 .380 barrels are about the easiest ones to use. Pretty simple lathe turning excercise and they are priced at about $100.00 or so.
Try Wetsern Gun Parts in Edmonton.

Whatever you do, keep it away from Ontario Gun! They used a spot welder to attach a 5" .22 barrel stub to a Makarov frame so they could reclassify it and transfer it to me.
Im thinkin` $100-120 for a barrel. $175.00ish installed with all the paper work done! Ive had several done in the past and I think it best to get it installed with paper work done. The barrel swap isnt that big a deal, but if your going.32>.380 the extractor does need to be cut back a bit as well. The paper work also seems to flow abit better when going this route!
If you get the barrel and have a smithy install it for you, Ive been charged$50-75 for the installation and paper work.
