Who sells surefire forends??

Check the links at the top.

IIRC Wolverine carries surefire rails.

Those are a far cry from the DD lite that you originally said you wanted to use. Hell I think Wolverine carries DD as well.

I talked to Ryan at wolverine yesterday and he said the new DD shipment is coming but everything (well atleast the stuff I wanted was OOS.) However he does have lots of Midwest Industries They look like pretty good quality, similar to the Samson/Troy rails in the mounting system (cutting off the Delta ring and attaching to the barrel nut.) I was looking at the MCTAR-20 which is a 7" Free Float 2 Piece Rail.

If you are looking for something that attaches to the delta ring than the MCTAR-17 would be good. Just like the Surefire in the same mounting methods without needing modification. With a price of $209 Canadian the price is definatley right.

Thanks. I am just checking out other (cheaper) options. ;)
Ahh! Since you are local to Arms East and bought most of your bits off of him anyway, I'd check with him on the price of a Samson rail. Cheaper than DD or Larue but still excellent quality (from what I hear). I don't think that the Surefire rails have a very good reputation.

ETA: Of course, I still maintain that a rail isn't necessary, and definitely your cheapest option.:)
