Providing that your OAL is still over 26", it would not change the classification of your rifle.
U.S. DOS, as of late, hasn't been issuing any export permits for folders. Many were exported here prior to these increased restrictions, however, so they still may be available. Your best bet may be with a Want-To-Buy advertisement on the Equipment Exchange.
