I have a glock 37 and I love everything about it other than ammo availability! If you are a fellow GAP shooter, where are you buying your ammo? I reload the basics but would like to pick up some some speer hp if I could find it! It really is a nice little round, doesn't really fill a need but my wants are basically for variety :)

It is very easy to reload your GAP brass. If you reload for 45 ACP you use the same bullets and most 45 ACP dies can be used for this as well. This way you do not have to look for expensive ammo.

Ah sorry, my initial post may not have been clear, I do reload my GAP brass. I meant I reload the "basics" as in a fairly light TMJ load. I want to get some quality factory stuff though too. I am also just wondering how many people actually shoot GAP.

I have reloaded for mine since day 1., fortunately I met a range officer who happened to collect brass and he gave me a few hundred once-fired stuff so I'm good to go for a long time..

Wholesale Sports and Canada Ammo can order in American Eagle 185gr ammo but it's not cheap!! I think I paid $32/box (Wholesale Sports) for mine, I believe Custom Reloading Services has once fired brass. As far as 'quality' ammo I don't think you'll find anything unless it's 'specially' brought in from the US.

I just picked up a G37 from the EE a few days ago. I had 6 boxes of Federal 185 grainers on hand already, and the gun came with 8 boxes of Federal once fired empty brass and about 800 rounds of new Starline brass. I haven't loaded any yet but will be doing so in the next few days.

why on earth would they make .45 GAP different from .45acp...

im glad it was mentioned, I simply thought it was glocks rebranding of the same cartridge
