Who Started with Lee Loading Equipment?

How many cut their teeth with Lee tools?

I have some Lee loaders somewhere can't find after a move. I think the where called zerro error Lee hand loaders in 3006, 308win, &243win These things where amazing you could inside neck turn your brass, adj, calibrated bullet seater. i shot a lot of hunterclass with a .308 Rem hart barrel it was a constant under 1/2 gun and all I used to load was these loaders they where great bought these in 70s
 
I started out with Lee Products and still use most of the anniverery kit . I have upgraded the scale to a Lyman pro 1000. My dies are from all manufactures but my preference is for the Hornady. I have the Lee loaders and hand press that still get used. Lee products work well and are reasonably priced, that's all I need.
 
I know many people that started with lee equipment but switched to other manufacturers like rcbs or redding,but I don't know of any that switched to lee after using rcbs or redding.
 
I started out with a mixed bag of stuff including an rcbs baby chucker or whatever it's called. Bought a lee classic cast this year, like it better. Any time I buy for a new caliber I get lee collet sets, no complaints yet.
 
I use Dillon 550 and RCBS rockchucker. Mostly Dillon pistol dies. Mostly RCBS/Redding rifle dies. I DO like the LEE factory crimp dies and the Auto prime, and for some low-key projects, like 30-30, I have a few sets of Lee dies.
 
Lee Stuff:

- Lee Classic Cast Press (made from recycled railroad ties)
- Lee Deluxe Rifle Dies
- Lee Trimmer (bought a set for each caliber I load)
- Lee Primer Pocket Cleaner
- Lee Chamfer Tool (think I spelt that right *laughs*)

Non-Lee Stuff:

- Pact Digital Scale
- Pact Digital Powder Dispenser
- RCBS Case Lube Pad (and Lube)
- Lyman Turbo Pro Vibratory Tumbler
- House of Tools Digital Caliper

I have zero complaints about my Lee purchases, and find they are likely the most cost effective reloading tools I've encountered. They work as advertised, and give me the results I demand.
 
I started reloding 18 months ago an bought a Lee turret press from the board. It has served me well for 7 calibers (22-250, 25.06, 6.5X55, .30-06, 300WM, .45-70 and .44 mag). I use an other Lee press as a decapper. Lee dies work, but I also have RCBS and Hornady. I really like the Hornady dies!

The only Lee product I have ever used is their lead melting pot, my Father bought a RCBS Rockchucker in 1969 and when he passed away 22 years ago at age 50 I inherited it and still use it today. I can't even imagine how many rounds have been reloaded on that press. For rifle reloading I prefer Hornady dies, and for pistol I use mainly RCBS carbide dies in my Dillon 550.
