A couple of years ago I bought a used Ricol 12ga with 14" barrels. It's one of the most fun guns I have next to the AR and XD I use for cqb stuff.
I've killed quite a few coyotes with it in thick bush with #4 buck and lead BB's. In the turkey blind it's really nimble and finding turkey choke tubes was easy. I stick camo tape all over it to hide and protect it from scratches. I don't have the heart to paint it. I have loaded it with slugs and dragged up the tree stand but haven't taken a deer with it yet.
Do any of you wannabe zombie killers use your shorties for hunting?
