Hi guys..Mostly a lurker but I got a hold of a gun made by Barclay Rifles, Saskatoon. 300 WM, Model 15 SUPER-FIRE..
Believe it to be a Voere Action..barrel marked WISCHO KS ERLANGEN-GERMANY. Just lookin for history on Barclay and this model of rifle.. had a barrel bulge and I had to shorten it 1 1/4 inches from 24 inch, For me to get the original owner had to die and his widow hates guns.
 
thanks.. would they have built the action or the whole rifle?.It is engraved with previous owners name and of course Barclay Signature..would like to know about Barclay also.. who and how long in business..when the shop closed and what else they did.
 
Sorry, that's all the info I had onhand.
Guessing, but I would think that " WISCHO KS ERLANGEN-GERMANY" made a limited production run of these rifles for Barclay on the established Voere ll action similar to what Ruger did for Lipsey's.
