I was looking online and I can only seem to find SSS who carries aftermarket triggers that replace the accutrigger models. Is it a pain to order from SSS? Is there anyone in Canada that sells these triggers?

As of right now, there are no US manf offering accutrigger replacements that are set up for legal export so I can't list nor sell their stuff :-(

Hopefully, that will change....

What do you not like about the accutrigger?

Jerry

I want to reduce the pull to around a pound. Is there a link with instructions to reduce it beyond the factory capabilities? Other than the pull, I actually really enjoy the accutrigger.

Sell your rifle, use the money to buy a Savage varmint model with the target accutrigger . It is adjustable from 6oz to 2.5lbs I know those models exist. I just don't quite know the exact models that have this trigger over the regular 2.5-6lb accutrigger. Now if your looking for .300 win mags, I don't think you'd be in luck, unless one of those models came with a decent sized bolt face to enable a rebarrel to a big game model, and then the gun might only come in a 10 lb model. Dang, that made me dizzy.

Not to get off topic but what is about the accu trigger that you dont like..I was under the impression that if I were to buy a Savage it should have the accu trigger .....

ive ordered from SSS before

they are the best with ANYTHING savage

super professional too. The package came with several printed out customs documents in it with specific parts hand highlighted just in case some tard at the border was screening it and didnt know whether it was legal or not to let it through LOL

They know their stuff and I would not hesitate to order from them again in the future...in fact i may be in the market for a trigger too

wanna go in together and share shipping?

Jeronemo,

when you have waited almost 12 months to the day for a stock you were promised and your credit card charged, that was to be ready in 8 weeks, well.... Now the story is a long and tangled web. Hopefully one day it will have a happy ending

Taking the time to watch those videos, which is likely a good bit of nostalgia to some of us, is far easier than hearing me cry the whole thing out.

Just trying to help. But yes the attention was great big lad. ;)

I have the accutrigger as well and tried adjusting it down with the tool but it didn't seem to make much difference. Can I replace the spring or tie some of the coils together?

Much better. Now I understand. I thought you were just trying to be an idiot. I am sorry to hear about the stock.
