Who's got 12g / 20g Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme's in stock?

I can't tell you who has any in stock but i can say that i did buy a used one and was very disappointing with the quality of it, i immediately put it back up for sale. I know, I know, some will say what did you expect for that price, but regardless it was still disappionting

I also bought and sold one... wasn't impressed

Bought one, have put 1000-2000 rounds through it, a mix of skeet, trap & goose loads.
Still going strong, not of the same level of fit & finish as a SKB, Browning, Beretta, etc. but it gets the job done.

The nickel plated IGA Stoeger sxs (coach gun) in 410 is an ok gun for ditch swatting grouse.
2 sxs full choke barrels, light and handy - 2 fast shots.
Kinda steep for a bird gun ($500-$600) when you can get a b/o single shot for 1/3 of that.

This always makes me laugh, as if 2000 shells is a lot for a shotgun being used to shoot trap and skeet.

I have a 12ga 3" chamber one.
I don't hunt with it but I will regularly take it to the range put boxes of buck shot and slugs through it.
Hasn't had a single issue.
I actually took mine apart, shaved down the "auto safety" rod, clipped the cocking spring about 2 coils, polished up the chambers and all the contact surfaces with 400/600 grit paper. It's real smooth now.
I wouldn't but one brand new. Too expensive for what it is. I got a like new used one off the EE for 40% off sticker price and slicked it up a bit.
It patterns very well and puts slugs exactly where you point it. It's a great, simple, beefy shotgun. No complaints. It doesn't have any ### swirly etchings on it etc It's just a simple, light, handy little SxS for a decent price.

howdy. THE COWBOYS FIX-EM by doing many modifications to them so what ever happens after that is not on the manufacture. They will work for the price and cowboys are cheap. SKB are preferred.

Surprising, as the IGA's seem to be pretty popular with the CAS crowd. Some of these competitions will put 100's of shells through them in a weekend.....

I haven't heard of any failures through the CAS groups.

Most of them get modified, new firing pins, cleaned up and polished internals etc for faster opening closing. Plus cas is not realy the same thing as hunting where the function could determine if a charging bear is stopped - and it has happened to me. Mine developed two problems, the release lever became suuuuper sloppy and the Barrel weld cracked at the chamber in less that 1000 shells. They swing terribly, even the 20" version, are poorly fitted and in the single trigger versions are known for problems. Those stoeger sell for about $550 now, for that money one can buy a better gun for the long haul - just not a sxs.
