I was told the tax stamp on the shotgun is only $5 not the $200 i had to pay for my suppressors.

True it does depend alot on your state and your willingness to do the proper paperwork. I just remembered when I lived in van, you could get an over the counter 14 incher, where as in the states you couldn't get less than 18 without paperwork. :D

Very nice... I really really really like the integrated pistol grip.
I wonder if they can be purchased seperately :)

Yes its considered an AOW (any other weapon) so the tax stamp is $5. But I still have to do the finger print cards, passport pics, and get signed off by the sheriff.... all of which is no problem for me. The only problem is the govt has been so busy with the stupid obama scare they have been taking upto 2 months to approve. My suppressor for my sig only took 3 weeks I believe, my AR took only 5 weeks.

After 6 months of waiting for approval I finally got my new shotty.

Wow, America is strange. So you can have full auto weapons in some states and conceal and carry in about 30 of them but a shotgun takes 6 months? Uhh, is that right? And you need to give em' fingerprints??!?!!? Thats messed up $hit.

The reason is because of the biggest gun salesman of 2009... Obama. They are so backed up with paperwork its taking 5 to 6 months to get class3 stuff approved. My suppressors took 5 weeks max a few years ago, same with my CCW. But now approvals are taking 5 months or more, because of the mass panic of these idiots!

the advantage the us has is they can use pistol gripped shotguns such as the serbru as we would our unrestricted long guns. canadian pistol gripped shortys with barrels under 16 inches are restricted or so the r.c.m.p. will tell you.i had a discussion with the c.f.c.recently and pointed out that there has yet to be a court case to set a precedent and was told that there would be one soon.i ran this by an r.c.m.p. years ago using a i.g.a. backpacker as an example and was asked if i would like to be the test case.the sad part is you would have a criminal record if the ruling went against you.

Yup I can mount this shotty in my truck or my desk at work and as long as I have my CCW and my papers im legal. now I need the thigh holster and trench coat to go with it... and a side saddle to double my shell capacity. LOL
