I used the search function and it just turned up drivel. I wanna know who's using them, how you like them, and how their holding up...

Only answer if you've used them... I don't want the negative drivel...

... And yes, I'm a Magpul slut, I drink the koolaid and I love it....

I ordered them thinking they were made of metal, boy was i disappointed when i received them. :p
I didnt even fire any rounds with them,i sold them. i also didnt like how when flipped down, they were on a bit of an angle upwards. The profile didnt look good.

As you can imagine, a component like the MBUS is bound to have problems since it is such a small piece of polymer. I've read reports of over-tightening the screw base and having it crack. This has also happened to my brother's MBUS.

Now you can argue that the users' shouldn't have over-tightened the screws but this situation, IMO, would have been nearly impossible with a BUIS.

I have one on a 9mm AR.
It's a plastic back up sight... It does what it's supposed to.

Sit there and wait for my primary sight to fail :)

I put a set on my Troy MCS'd M14. Holding up great so far (100+ rounds).

My only complaint is that they're a little fat, but otherwise for the price they can't be beat.

I didn't have any trouble mounting them but I didn't use large tools or apply excessive torque. Aluminum will crack and bend if it's over torqued too. I put them on my 9mm AR and got to the range with it for the first time tonight. They're relatively inexpensive and did exactly what they're supposed to. I don't have an optic on this one yet so these will get a good workout over the next few weeks. They were easy to zero and stayed put for the whole night. I'm mostly interested to see how well they hold zero so I'll be folding them up and "deploying" them a bunch between now and my next trip to the range.
