I prefer airguns for many reasons. The technologies have improved for pcps which allow semi auto, bigbore and low recoil systems. I read somewhere that airguns in the past were feared by Napoleon. They were expensive compared to a musket because of multi functions. Faster reloading time, accuracy, and no muzzle flash.
I enjoy air guns because you can make your backyard or basement into a range. The power can be adjusted to fit your lifestyle (springers, co2, pcp). Ammo is cheaper and isn't messy with cassings. Shooting at 100 yards is like shooting a powder burner at 500. Field target can be a lot of fun using an airgun too.
I was at the range today and shared my air guns with some of the members. I brought my fx revolution (semi auto) and eun jin sumatra (under lever action). Most of them were surprised to see how much airguns have changed since they were younger. What impressed them was how accurate they were shooting at 50 yards.
Just curious to see what most of you guys think?
