I have noticed the amount of kel tec RFBs on the EE pick up significantly in the last couple of days, one of them even close to the MSRP!!!!!!

Whats going on? spending money you dont have? or is there something wrong with them?

I am just confused because people seem to want these rifles pretty bad (including myself). and there is a year long waiting list at most of the retailers.

Not complaining, just wondering if they are all experiencing issues or what.

I think people are privately trying to sell them at a premium :nest: , before the next wave of supply comes in and dashes-down the demand for 'em at inflated prices ! :stirthepot2:

Selling mine cause I am moving and it takes up too much room. I will only have room for a small safe where I am going. So any excess has to go for now. Going to be putting up my Winchester 9410 in the shotgun EE shortly once I take a few pics.

I think a lot of people buy the next big thing on the credit card and then realize they can't pay for it. Or they realize that .308 is not cheap!

More disturbingly there are lot of Swiss CQB for sale as well, all this before the eve of CPC majority government and the beginning of the end to the LGR, OMG! what is going on? :runaway: :jerkit:

This topic has been covered in both the XCR and the AR180B thread, you are just trying to hard to read something into nothing, all this from someone who starts a thread about every new firearm on the market like a little school girl, ended up buying a SL8, sells it in less than 2 months with barely a box of ammo down the pipe. :slap: :D

People could have pre ordered with multiple sources.?
People could be waiting for RFB-50bmg?
People have eyes bigger then their wallets?
People notice they are not worth th loot?
Who knows dude bro..

OOOO harsh!

well fortunately I dont have to put others down to make myself feel like a man. if you dont like my posts/threads then dont look at or reply to them.

I will admit, I am a gun whore, but I only have so much money as a student, and I enjoy sampling new different types of firearms. Unfortunately the rossi ranch hand came up and I needed some cash so that i could nab the next best thing to a non-restricted handgun for bush carry, as my job happens to be in the white gold district.

I love black rifles, and when I find the right one for me, I wont be selling it. I would like to get an RFB somewhere down the road and see how I like it. but really it is not your place to judge what I do with my property, I can buy and sell all I want, so keep it to yourself please.

You always get this. Especially just before or after a new shipment is coming in. The same thing happens with the Tavor and pretty much any firearm. Some people are willing to part with theirs to make a few bucks, others bought it and it either wasn't what they wanted, something else has caught their attention or they were having regrets over the price. It's a lot of money to have tied up in a firearm!!!

I'm keeping mine. I haven't had much time to shoot it lately. As for being out shot. Maybe but it's still giving us 1.5 moa 5 round groups at 100 meters. There's a lot more testing to be done. One of the main issues is that most people aren't doing ammo tests or reloading etc. So the magic bullets aren't known. Shooting a .308 CQB style gets expensive. Not knowing right off the get go what the best ammo is through them can get people frustrated.

I also wonder if people's expectations aren't too high. On the internet everyone shoots 1/4 moa "providing I do my part". In reality it's not that common. A lot of the common rifles are really only 2 moa rifles. The RFB is also tough to shoot off a bench since it's not the conventional rifle design and it's not designed for bench rest.

The bottom line. It's fairly new and not enough people have played around with them to really figure these rifles out. It's not a 5R where you use 168 Federal Gold and shoot sub .5 moa groups right off the get go.

It's a unique rifle with high demand. There is money to be made if you have one and don't need to sell. You're going to see some movement on the EE then it'll dry up for a while. Seems to be the common trend.

I seem to remember this happening between the two major shipments of CZ 858's, and the big batch of Norc m14's and the smaller follow up batch. Both times sales spiked when people were worried about a glut in the market. They were basically looking to sell their gun to break even/profit, and then buy when the market was low 1month-2 years down the road. In the end most people just sold at cost or close to it.

You are of course kidding right? We will be extremely lucky if the CPC can hold onto a very slim minority. With Harper putting his foot in his mouth at every turn, and scandal after scandal coming up, whatever momentum they had is going going gone. I fully expect a smaller minority than last time, and we will have the dream team of Iggy, Taliban Jack and Douchceppe with Iggy as the PM. A real sad state of affairs considering the CPC was actually knocking on majority territory.
