Man do us Canucks take it up the hoop! I'm looking for a sub compact and it's looking like a g note plus taxes! These glocks I see on America website retailing for 500... Ok ok ok we need a special barrel (107mm), what happened to the original one! These stores are just making profit? Have to be! I sure when they place an order they are getting some sort of discount by purchasing a glock with out barrel? And if they have to buy the gun with barrel, I'm sure they are selling them to some body?! Are these after market barrels any good? What's your opinion!

There is definitely a surcharge.
Dlask was bringing in gen 4 G19's for a short time brand new at around $750 if I recall which is probably closer to a fair price.....but what are you going to do?
You could always talk with someone like irunguns and see if they can help you import it yourself?
I think some people have also saved a few buck buying them from a gun shop in Buffalo that will help with export to Canada but you'd have to look into that.

I can cross the border into Buffalo and have one for $600 + $100 import fee unless prices have gone up significantly in the last year. Far as I know they still offer this service.

Give a call to Bufflao Gun Centre and see what they can do for you. You might be surprised.

How the dealers, and distributors here can justify the pricing is beyond me.

More gouging and ridiculous prices... It's the Canadian way...

Thank you guys! I'm going to look at the options that were given to me! So I'm guessing the place in buffalo sells them with the converted barrels?

I have seen them already put together in the display with a special Canadian Flag sign on them.

Regardless it is no problem for them to source an aftermarket barrel if they don't already have em.

Like I said, give them a call, and tell them you are a Canadian looking to export a G27 with an extended barrel. Shouldn't take too much explaining.

The Glock M27 can be a mitt full to shoot with that stubbie grip.

NAA.

I wouldn't say they are a mitt full but they aren't for everyone that's for sure. They remind me of a western plow handle grip where the pinky is below the bottom of the grip.
I don't mind the 2 finger grip but some people add the magazine extension piece for the pinky.
OP
You should consider getting a 9mm barrel as part of the import.

We can bring these in. Unfortunately we have to buy the guns with the factory barrels so we pay full price for the gun. I guess the factory barrels could be sold off on gunbroker etc but in reality how much are they really worth/ is there any demand? So I wouldn't be under the impression dealers are selling the factory barrels and getting a pile of money for then or buying glocks with no barrels and adding the Can legal barrel. That being said 1k is rather steep
