Why are old fixed choke semi's so expensive?

I would happily replace my B2000 if I lost it if I could find another for $400 or so. And you can keep the SX-1.

Frankly, like O/U's, I think firearms manufacturers are making semi's uglier every day as well.

Thank You I will gladly keep my SX-1's. The Browning can't hold a Candle to them.

As far as the new Semi's go I think some of the wood stocked Benelli's are some of the prettiest guns on the market. However at prices over $2,400 + taxes they have priced themselves out of the market.

Except for the fact you get to keep the SX-1s, apparently we are at the point where we have to agree to disagree.

Including, probably, on the point that the semiautomatic shotgun has yet to be made that has the graceful lines of the B2000.

Yes you are right  The SX-1's were so ugly. Like this one. :)

I didn't say ugly, I said not as pretty and graceful. And the picture pretty much confirms that.

I guess you'll have to hold that thought for a moment as the B2000 is sitting in Montana getting ready to go sharpie hunting this weekend with a new Griff pup about to go on his first trip afield. Not currently available for cheesecake photos

But of course, there is also the Superposed...

I would be willing to bet your a "Chubby Chaser" :) Just by your taste in guns.
As far as the Superposed goes I have owned 2 and wouldn't own another. Don't enjoy being beaten to death.

A SX-1 with a 26" imp.Mod. was my very first shotgun... bought it brand new (with a little subsidy from dad's gun fund :)).. It took down its share of hare and grouse...

Still one of my favorite shotgun!

Don't have a clue what they're worth today, but I wouldn't sell it for $500
