Why are there so many CZ shadows for sale??

I've noticed that things seem to come in waves on the EE for whatever reason. One time you look there will be a bunch of a particular model offered and then a month or two later there will be none.

I think it's the same reason a lot of Glock's get posted for sale, volume. There are so many Glock's, M&P's, and CZ's out there that you're bound to see them on the used market.

Exactly the more pistols that are out there, the more will be available to sell as people change guns, move up, need cash due to the economic downturm whatever not because they are not good guns

in the accuracy department, all shadows are not equal . sold mine because the ergos weren't a good fit for my hands. slide stop lever was always in the path of my grip.

i guess some peoples sell them after awhile for similar reasons.

It's an illusion. There's always been shadows on the EE. Always have been. Always will be.
Like when you buy a white chevy trailblazer. And you drive around and you suddenly think, whoa, since I got this thing, EVERYBODYs copying me!!

Had the same problem when I first got my shadow (big hands), a flush slidestop fixed that along with realizing how high i was pushing my support hand along the frame causing jams.
Sad to see you move off the Shadow, its an absolute work horse.

Got the Tanfoglio and fit's perfect :p

I would agree that more are available used now than one year ago. It seems that a lot of gun buyers nurture a want and buy the "hot ticket" then after receiving it and shooting it a bit (maybe) they sell because they have been feeding a new lust and the prior must have needs to go.

I waited for a Shadow and it is staying with me, I like it.

A couple ideas:

- It's a great IPSC gun, especially for beginners. Beautiful feel with the right grips, high grip to keep the muzzle jump to a minimum, very well built. After a couple years of competing, an owner may consider switching to a more expensive race gun
- There have been a couple new versions of the Shadow, since the original, so you may see a number of the black Shadows out there, as people may have upgraded.

It's absolutely not anything wrong with the Shadow that would cause these to appear on the market. I owned one a few years, and it never let me down.

+1 The Shadow is my baseline gun to recommend to a new shooter, I usually say try that one first and make sure anything else you fire can give the same results and feel.

Usually they stay with the Shadow..mine is a permanent member of the clan.

I love my Shadow and I can't see where I'd sell it unless it was to upgrade to another CZ based design. Even then, I'd probably sell other guns first if I had the choice.
