Why are XCR pistol mags in 308 impossible to find?

blame the modern hunter, bcl102 and stag-10 owners LOL
pretty sure every store sold out of them a month or so ago but every store that stocked them says they have orders in.
Best thing to do is find every cgn dealer with a website that carries these and get on thier "notify me when this product is in stock" email list
I see them in the EE every couple days.
heck there was 10 listed in the milsurp section and nobody was seeing them.... probably sold now.
I've gotten 6 off the EE since july , 4 were new in the package still. I've also got 4 on order with one of the dealers here.
I know one retailer is expecting an order of 1000 mags any day now but the whole order is sold out.

When the NEA/BCL 102 was announced, I figured I wanted one so bought 10 of those mags, because I felt they would sell out. But i was in no hurry to buy a 102 and it seems they weigh a bit more than I wanted them to.
Then I ordered a MDI SLR to build a 6.5 Grendel, and that interests me more.
Then those Stag Arms .308's came out and I thought I might buy one to use the mags in. But I'm in no hurry, as I always have half a dozen rifle projects of different descriptions on the go.
So the mags sit in a box for now. And they aren't for sale, don't PM me.
Tavor 7 might be cool.......

They're hard to find because people are silly and want to do mag dumps like they do with a 223
Funny thing is that every time I go into Cabela's or most other gun stores they have them sitting there on the shelf, I bought one for my Modern Hunter but don't like it because I'm a handloader and they scratch the brass, I prefer polymer mags.
Just be patient, they'll be back on the shelves soon and then there will be another batch after that and so on. You just missed the rush after the Stag 10 was announced and everyone ran out to buy mags. Don't get excited and pay someone a premium to get one from the EE, they'll be back just like last time they sold out.
