Why aren't there any 9mm Tavors in Canada?

I was actually thinking the exact same thing a few days ago, but then it dawned on me.. 9mm.. restricted (MTAR-21).. $3000+... pass!

I prefer a TAR-21 chamber in 9mm Non-res

I am still want a Tavor, but for 9mm I'll stick with my Sub-2000. Would rather have an Uzi though.

The same reason there weren't too many 9mm AUGs at the time. For the price, you could buy a whole new gun.

For well under $3K you can have a 10 shot 9mm AR15 that is similarly restricted, but a lot more fun to shoot and more accurate in all liklihood.

I was thinkin in NR like the .223 version. I don't really see the difference between buying a .223 for 3 grand or buying a 9mm for 3 grand to be honest. Either way I can't afford one, I was just curious.
