Why do I need more than one ?

if you were meant to only own one they would sell a gun locker, not a twelve gun cabinet, which means that you need to own twelve to fill it thus making it a Conspiracy. Anyway thats what I thought but know it seems that I collect those twelve gun cabinets and have lost count of the guns:shotgun:

Because we owe it to all the different animals we hunt, and those that we may some day hunt, to shoot them with the perfect rifle, cartridge, bullet and load combination. Anything less would be..... well, just not right.

you mean the 30-06? :D

You're on the right track

.... now think of some neat, really accurate smaller than .284" calibers.... good, now shift your thought process to shotguns, by type, by gauge, by game & target sport .... now .....

The trouble with having many firearms is that you run the risk of not becoming really familiar with any of them i.e "Jack of all trades master of none". If you ever have to use a firearm where your life is dependent upon it, this could be a real liability. I really like the 45/70 and currently have a Marlin Guide rifle which is great to carry for long periods and certainly gets the job done!.
