Hi guys. Just a question. Does anybody know why the CZ All-American trap combo shotgun has Akkar labelling on the rifle?
I believe it also says Churchill which is what Akkar calls there shotgun. Is there some type of joint production going on here
or is CZ just using a Akkar stock?

Lastly what do you guys think about the Akkar Churchill shotguns? They look really nice and are very reasonably priced.

Large companies will often re-badge a gun made by someone else. In an earlier era it was more commonly Spanish guns now it's Turkish.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. So then I guess my 2nd questions is. Why pay 3 times more money for the CZ when you can basically by the same gun from Akkar.
Or is CZ just using the stock from Akkar and the Action/barrel is made by CZ?

It's called "branding". CZ is a well known firearms brand. They have a decent reputation and people are prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt on subjects like initial build quality, minimal problems down the road and warranty coverage because of that.

Relatively speaking, no one knows Akkar from a hole in the wall. They are busy establishing the value of their brand name in the NA marketplace. Until it's been established, they have to rely on sharp pricing to get a toe hold in the market place.

The gun is made by Akkar. They have been contracted by CZ to build the guns and put CZ's name on them.

It's the same with just about any consumer product.
