I can totally stand behind them when they say they will make things right if they make a mistake. I had a warranty issue many years back and they made everything right without hassle! I love their store, just wish they had more items in stock.

I started my journey in the gun business after working a sh!t, soul sucking job in my early 20s that completely ruined my outlook on what a job/ career should be. After that experience I swore I wouldn't have a career I would love showing up to every day. Thus the adventure began.

I started at Wanstalls in 2013 (after working for a few other firearm companies) as a 20 something social media guy. Since then I have filled many rolls at the shop like brass sorter, lead taste tester and scope polisher. Now I am a partner and I run the day to day while my 2 partners Craig and Marco enjoy being old. I have been a member on CGN since 2009 and I am first and foremost a gun nut. I still to this day find myself buying things I have always thought I needed in the EE and am always looking for that elusive gun I wanted when I was 18 but was to broke to afford (there was a lot).

So what does this mean for the members here? You get a direct line to the pulse of the business lol. But seriously you are dealing with the guy making the calls day to day.

We are a small crew of guys and the folks working here have all been here long term. They have seen the best and worst of the shop, the community and the politics. We do our absolute best to make folks happy, we are however human and we do mess up from time to time. We will always do our best to make things right withing reason.

So all that being said lets get this show on the road.

I've always shopped at Wanstalls in person, so I can't speak for their online sales, but I've always had great experiences with the staff and the store. The day I got my RPAL I was right in there and bought my first rifles. Since then I have bought several more firearms, accessories, cases and a lot of ammo from them, never having a reason to complain.

Congrats on the new journey Matt and good luck to you brother!
 
Matt's been running things for a couple of years now, right? Or at least kind of?
I remember when I got my Wilson Combat from y'all way back, the custom orders dude at the time kind of made a mess of things for you guys.. and I.
But I've ordered a couple of times since those days and all has been good. Didn't know about the CGN drama, personally.

Between the better social media presence (Matt's in CKG as well), CGN, improvements on the site I think Wanstalls is one of my favorite shops out there and I'm not even local.

Although I do wish you guys would get more niche stuff in from the states like you used to, Wilson Combat orders and the like. Maybe Big Gun Armoury or something?
A couple of nicer high end gun partnerships from the states for NR guns could be nice!
