I'm curious why we haven't seen a Canadian manufacturer try to build a chassis for the dirt cheap Hi-Point 995TS Carbine.
The gun retails for roughly $500 but is ugly as hell (jmho).
You would think if a manufacturer could design an aluminum chassis that fit the 995, cost around $400, and would accept AR rails, grips, stocks, etc, that it would sell like hotcakes here.
Thoughts on this?

If I wanted to spend $900 on a PCC, I would pay an extra $400 for an FX-9 that can use glock magazines, or the Ruger PC carbine. Instead of a janky PCC with 5 round magazines, and was literally built to be cheap.

No manufacturer would even seriously consider making that a production item, the market is too small and the item too expensive.
