Just curious why no one has or desires the Trijicon TX30 for their black rifle setups? Is there something wrong with them? Are they fragile?

They look nice, they seem affordable (in between the Eotech and Aimpoint for pricing) and I am now considering one :)

Anyone here able to comment?

I don't think they are fragile at all. The current generation is made out of a solid one piece machined aluminum forging . Its built like a tank - like the ACOGS . The first generation had lots of plastic

As far as priced between the Aimpoint and EOTech , I don't know where you are getting the prices but the TX30 is more $$ than even the Aimpoint CompM3 and more than the EOtech military .

I love the Chevron ! The fiber optic illumination is nice because when its brighter outside the chevron becomes brighter. Its kinda at the "right" brightness for all daylight conditions

The battery illumination works good . The tritium illumination is really faint ( according to Trijicon its suppose to be like that

Thanks... I found a place in the US that is willing to do the paperwork and send it to me (if I want it) it is only $431.91 US brand new.
Something to consider - but I am also considering the Eotech 512

I am done with <$100 optics :D
