Why Not IMR 4064 or 4895??

I use W748 in .223 and 30-06. I have used it in .308 as well. All were with great success, and it meters nicely too. IMR 3031 is my second choice for the 30-06 though (I load it in 7.62x54R as well), and although it doesn't meter well, charges weighed individually produce stellar results in both.....
 
I'm surprised you had bad luck with BLC2 and 178's. They were the combo that finally made my tik tac's hum. I too had velocities over 2700 fps and incredible accuracy.

No I said Key hole not in a bad way, this is the load for my Tic Tak, its great load for me .5 all day with it, and shot a nice group of 10 in the .5 moa.

The rems dont like it!
 
I also want to try BenchMark Powder I was reading the U.S Palma team has tried it with great success to 1000 y and a new record was set with open sites measuring under 10 inches and a 10 shot group. There original load was a 168 gr bullet with 46.0 gr of Varget however some guys are sayng 42.0 grains of Benchmark is the way to go matches the velocity and with a good thrower its bang on.
