I stopped in their shop a couple weeks ago for a crate of ammo, I was quite impressed with their great service and knowledge. The two girls there were a pleasure to deal with, I'll definitely be back!

Living in Ontario;

I have always been billed 13% HST (Ontario tax) from all vendors in Canada.
Regardless of what province the vendor is in.

And you always will be .
The HST is a federal tax combining the 5% GST & your 8% Ontario PST . Technically Ont has no PST
In BC the HST is 12% . 5% GST & 7% PST
If you live in a province that has the HST & you order taxable goods from a dealer in another province that dealer will charge you the federal HST of your province .
Tomorrow BC goes back to the GST/PST . So now when a BC resident orders taxable goods from a dealer in another province that dose not operate in BC they will be billed GST only as the out of province dealer is not registered to collect PST for the BC Gov because they do not operate in BC.

Now that dose NOT mean the purchaser doesn't owe the BC Gov the PST on that purchase .
And I'm sure all good BC residents that order out of province will happily forward a cheque to the BC Taxation branch in the amount of 7% of their purchase :rolleyes:
 
I had been wanting to have a look at the AR Platform for some time now, so I called up SFRC to see what they had in stock. Turned out they had exactly what I was looking for, so I drive the two hours to their shop. The guys there are super nice, and more importantly, very patient with the newbies!! I got all my questions answered, and learned a bunch from the staff. If your in the Kingston area, and you want to have a look at some great stuff.... Swing on up to SFRC. They truly are a great bunch of people.
