Why the change to the EE re WTB?

I don't like the new change to the EE. A separate WTB forum is terrible.

Half the idea of an WTB is to possibly catch the casual browser and pique an interest in selling that old rifle in the back of their safe.

Now the ads are only viewed by people looking to sell. Feels like a big cut in viewers.

And not sure what was gained.

Sure this will be locked, but my thoughts.

I don't like the change either.

I never browse it and may have stuff they are looking for. Although when I have contacted WTB's in the past, they are usually looking to pay pennies on the dollar..

I don't go into any other forums so I didn't know. They can lock if they want. I'm willing to pay good coin for what I want but need the right people to see it. Oh well.

Seems like when I contact a WTB ad, the person only wants to pay $200 for an 800 rifle.

Most want to buy ads are a waste of time responding to

Milsurps is an odd place for this thread.
The topic has been flogged to death.
There is a good reason for the change, which has been announced by the management. Seems to be working well.
It is not going to change any time soon.

I should have checked other forums.

And I agree, a lot of WTB ads are a waste of time. But not all.

BTW, willing to pay good money for original k98k and k43 hahaha
