all 5 mags come in the box have tight spring,I couldn't push the 10th round ammo in.even 2nd round I have to push with both my hands...after pushed all 5 mags with total 5x9 rounds ,i felt my index fingers and thumbs are painful like hell. what's the hell going on in my p226 blackwater package?

the springs are new and stiff after a few trips to the range the springs will loosen up a bit and your fingers will become calloused :D

r u sure? but yesterday I tried my best to push the 10th round but failed,it just hard like shxt:( btw,I am not that weak and frequently went to gym;)

while your watching tv on the comp etc load and unload your mags a few dozen times that should loosen them might take alot of loading but they will loosen up they are designed the same as a coil spring on a car after some flexing they will loosen up my 22 savage mag was the same way

you could try loading the magazine full, and leaving it overnight (or longer)

although there may be some legality issue there...doubt it though

no.. actually.. i'm sure there isn't

Dude...all new mags will do this. There is a reason why some companies make those load helper things for their pistols.

Unfortunately for you, SIG SAUER does not. Just use it, it'll soften eventually.

My new Beretta Vertec was like that too. For the first 2 trips to the range I couldn't stuff that 10th round in there. Now they've loosened up a bit and I can cram it in. This is a sign that you're not using your new toy enough :D Send it over here and I'll make sure it's good and broken in for you.

it's too far between us,so for the time being, forgot about it.:D

The sad truth is the 10 round magazines are built, as those, so more than 10 rounds cannot be added. The Brady Bill 10 round magazines in the States have the same trait. I am honest when I say I do mind 10 round magazines for range work but I abhor anyone telling me that over 10 round magazines are inherently evil. Regards from your American cousin, Richard :D

It is the same with my P226. I bought the gun used with 2'000 Rounds through it. I have had it for over a year and a half and can still not load 10 rounds in the mags.

I did manage to get 10 into them once and left them loaded in my safe for over a week and after shooting them at the range, I still couldn't load 10 rounds into them.

Hopefully your will loosen up, mine are seriously tight, but since my P226 is only used for target shooting it's not a big deal to me.

Well I 'had' the same problem with my .226 .40s&w mags :) The folower was botoming out before the 10th rd could fit in. Oh, and if you do manage to get the tenth round in, good luck putting it in a gun with the slide closed.

try to disassemble the mags,if you notice the follower is a little bit huge, if you cant wait for the mags to accept the ten rnds, try taking some materials on the follower. if it its not important to you for the slide to open on the last shot, then cut a coil on you spring too.otherwise you have to wait for months before the springs will settle down.

mebiuspower etal, reread my post. The damned 10 rounders are not intended to loosen up, the springs are strong so over 10 rounds cannot be inserted. Regards, Richard :D
