I just put a deposit for a P7M8 and want to order some ammo now so I can start shooting the P7 the minute I receive it :D
What is your favorite factory ammo with this gun? What about reloads?

I found these for a good price at canadianbdx dot com

9mm Luger 124 FMJ Ammunition @ $160.00/1000
124 FMJ (Production) (Montana Gold OEM Bullet) Jacketed bullet excellent value. 1080+ FPS, (134 IPSC PF)

9mm Luger, 147 FMJ Ammunition @ $170.00/1000
147 FMJ Bullet, excellent value for training substitute over Factory Ammo

Wich one would be best? I will only use the gun for target shooting, no competions.

Thanks!

All I shoot is reloads from BDX in my .40 and 9mms. It's accurate and clean, an excellent value.

You might want to find someone closer to you though, the shipping will be significant.

Don't use the plated ammo, use the FMJ in 124 or 147gr. Tell Kurt at Combat masters what gun you are using it in and he will understand.

The Shooting edge has a good deal on 115g once fired reloads, box of 1000.

Good, thanks guys!

I think I'll go with the 124 FMJ with Montana Gold OEM Bullets. They are cheap, seem work good with the P7 and everybody seems to like them.

As for the shipping, Kurt quoted me some prices and they are very reasonnable. After the shipping cost they are still a good deal if I compare with what I can find here.

F#%k, I can't wait to shoot this gun... I'm like a kid waiting for christmas:D

That's good to hear. Make sure you order enough to keep you supplied for a while.

have you thought about this 9mm from cdn bdx...

9mm Luger, 124 CMJLL (low lead)
Ammunition

i don't know how easy it is to strip can clean the P7, but using the low lead stuff might make it easier for you to clean the P7.. also i see you are from Mtl, you guys have indoor ranges in PQ right? another reason the low lead stuff might be good for your HK, its only $10 more than the other stuff...

think about it... i want to try that next for my HKs (USPs)
