Wife whacks buck

Last night my wife took her first buck. A nice little 6-pointer. Smaller rack but very nice body. We had to drag the dang thing about 700yds over deadfall. Made her drag it the last 50 (it was downhill). Only her second deer since she only started last year. 150 yds, .243Win 100gn Federal Power Shock. Through and through. Behind (barely) the shoulder, decimated the lungs. He went 25yds or so. HUGE blood trail. Very happy with the round performance. I will try to post the pics my buddy took. Never have much luck tho. And if the pics work, that's what she was wearing hunting. She thought we were just going out for a walk in the woods to find a hunting spot. She's NEW, gimme a break.
