I currently have a synthetic stock on the rifle, and it is wiggling just slightly when it is attached to the rifle. Is this something that can be fixed by tightening the buttstock screw tighter? Or should I be looking for a firmer fitting buttstock?

It jiggles only slightly, but I'm worried it might be affecting my shot atleast some.

Just for anyone elses' future reference, the non-slip stuff cut in the shape of the butt stock end worked perfectly for tightening up this twist.

The non-slip stuff I'm referring too looks like this black mat in this pic:

A loose butt stock on an Enfield will cause the shots to string horizontally or left and right of center, remember everyone likes a tight butt. :D

That's exactly what I was thinking it would do with the recoil twisting ever so slightly, I can't wait to try the rifle now, as I was having some problems with tight groupings and was blaming my own shot due to lack of practice.

Enfields normally have a double spring washer under the stock bolt, plus a thin flat washer as well. Are they in there?
Does the bolt have a square protusion on the tip?
