Thought I'd miss for sure.
165gr Hot core Minute of Dog.
To elaborate we had heard them howling across the road and over the creek.
I was on another property up the road, could hear my cuz howling to them, I rang him an he said a few dogs goin' off over the road!
I glasses from nearby property ,off a big hill an actually seen the cows pushing the dogs away from the calf's on the creek flats!
I called Cuz an said, I'll see ya in 5 an to watch for the dogs.
I got there, didn't see em for a while but let out some howls an they responded.
Nearing dark I said I'll sneak down the creek and see what I can see.
That's when I spied one- had to slip across an open field about 100m to a scrubby Bush-- the next bush had a mound at the base an I thought- I got to get on that mound-
Let out a howl , a wallaby took off from the creek ways an then I seen the dog step out.
Lined him up as above an sent one.
Great arvo just "being out there"
