Hey guys~I was poking through the SHOT 2019 reports, and noticed this new rifle. Some interesting features, wonder what the accuracy will end up like? Appears to take 10/22 mags (looks like BC mags in the video at one point)..which makes sense from a cost-savings POV. Not that I'm shopping for a semi...but I suspect that the gun would enjoy a great amount of success in Canada if it had it's own proprietary mags. (10+ capacity) If it's priced right, it ought to do OK either way. If it proves to be as accurate as a Marlin 795, I could see it as a potential gopher plinker down the road. I've avoided semis for that, as I dread a lengthy tear-down/cleaning at the end of a high-volume, sunny gopher day. At day's end, there are cold beers to deal with, not allen keys. :)

Interesting. Wonder how that removable lower receiver will fare accuracy wise.
Pretty cool how it allows for cleaning from the rear.

I wonder where it's made...looks interesting but very cheaply made.

Agreed, but if I was hung up on that...I probably wouldn't own a Marlin 795! lol Cheap guns can be very reliable/decently accurate...but I'll be reluctant to move on one of these until I see/read lots of user reviews. Cool idea, and interesting to see a 22 autoloader coming from Winchester. Been a while! :)

Last ones were those Russian TOZ-99's rebranded I think...

Can't be a whole lot worse that a 10/22 with it's dovetail clamp barrel?
MSRP on Winchester site is saying $249.99. even for that price if it's not inherently accurate just for ease of cleaning after plinking all day would make it worth while to me. Especially if it ran Winny Wildcats.

Pretty cool concept, lots of plastic parts though.Last shot hold open only works with the Winchester mag.Pic rail is nice for mounting a scope.

It sure looks different

I like the rail with the peep sight - looks a bit like the one that comes with the M1 carbine look-alike model of the 10/22, and the drop-out lower looks like a better solution than the Savage A22 top cover.

I'm definitely going to wait and see if they experience teething issues with the mags like Savage did though.

This gun is particularly suited for someone living in a condo where they do not have space for a gun safe. Simply removing the bolt and locking it away in a drawer meets the legal storage requirement. This is different from a takedown rifle in which the bolt is not removed from the receiver. So yes, for some Canadians this is ideal.

Does anyone know if or when these are coming to Canada? I am really liking what I see and would buying assuming is not outrageously expensive
