...anyone here own or have experience with the 10/22 stock from Wildcat Composites?
I might like to plop my Volquartsen Summit into one but would like some feedback,mainly on how much bedding work was involved. The stiffness and ultra lightweight appeal to me.

I am curious as well. Thought about getting one for an ultra light 10/22 build. If you contact them, they might even do all the bedding work for you

I enquired with stewart. A blank is $425 if you're handy. Add in bedding, fitting, finishing seam lines, and painting, its $999 plus shipping your barreled action, plus shipping on the finished stock.

He figured about 20 ounces.

I went the opposite direction, 15oz volquartsen ultralite barrel, in a magpul hunter stock. The stock weighs 2.5lbs, but the rifle is under 5lbs assembled. I can't say enough about the ergonomcs of this stock. It shoulders like nothing else I've handled.
