Attempting to stay near Mach 1.2 at 2000 yards for best accuracy without Lapua bolt face. Will likely get Pacific Tool and Gauge to make a 338/375Rum imp 40 degrees with the shoulder forward an .100 inch. Necking down 375Rum brass short for good fit fire forming. Looking over case capacities listed by 4D Reamer Rentals I should end up with one grain more total capacity than the 338 Lapua. Throated long it will have much more useable capacity. With a 30 inch JC Custom prefit barrel and very hard REM 9 1/2 mag primers, strong ADM brass, 100+grains VV N-568 and carefully pushing the pressure to the high side I’m hoping for 3000fps with 300Atips.
BC .448. COAL will be over 4.1 inches.
It will be interesting at the very least as it may be the first 6BR/388 improved switch barrel ever done.
Loaded with Barnes 280Lrx it will be a devastating LR hunting rig to 1000.
