Wildcat safety reversal?

Howdy all,

I just got a Winchester Wildcat today. I’m left handed and want to reverse the safety. The how to doesn’t seem to be in the owner’s manual, or I missed it if it is. Can someone here explain how it’s done?

With crossbolt safeties, it's often more than taking it out and slapping it in the opposite way. Depending on how the manufacturer designs the detent system, you may have to fill and drill the trigger group.

Winchester says it’s easily reversible for left handed shooters. They just don’t explain how to do it so far as I’ve been able to determine.
